Its over, Bye bye.

We have no chance, I admit it.  I may be a die hard fan but I know reality when it stares me in the face and then kicks me in the balls.  From now on, I shall talk about the premier league in general (or whatever games espn3 shows anyway) and spend some time on the Champions league, cause Arsenal vs Barcelona will be interesting.

So see you next year EPL, hello Champions league, please be kind to us.

Torres. Where does he fit?

I could spend the next 200 or so words talking about how Chelsea triumphed over Sunderland.  But that would be boring.  Torres is far more interesting.  The Spanish striker transferred to  Chelsea from Liverpool for a transfer fee of 50 million pounds and commands a salary of 170,000 pounds a week. 

Now where will he play.  A striker naturally.  But where.  We have Drogba, Anelka and Kalou, all of whom a solid in front of goal.  So who will Torres replace.  Anelka most likely after all Kalou spends most of his time on the bench only coming on towards the end of most games.  I suppose a 4-3-3 with Drogba leading and Torres and Anelka behind him with Lampard, Malouda and Essien bringing up the midfield would make sense.  Or Ancellotti could use the age old Chlesea diamond. With Anelka in the fron and Lampard towards the rear, or with Lampard in the front with Anelka on the bench.

Well whatever formation Ancellotti decides to use, it better work. 

A cameback? I hope so.

Botlon 0 Chelsea 4.  A good win.  And hopefully a win that will get us back into the league. 


Bolton started well, pressing Chelsea players and could have been a threat to the Chelsea goal.  They probably would have scored sooner or later if it were not for Drogba's fantastic goal at the eleven minute mark, from almost 30 yards out that took everyone by surprise. 

Lampard's absence due to injury, may have been a point of concern for some, and the Chelsea midfield was rather uninspired at times, but at the 41 minute mark Florent Malouda managed to squeeze a tight goal in from a rather weird corner.  It was one of those " Oh he scored" type of goals.

Into the second half Bolton continued to press and tried to threaten the Chelsea goal but the second half belonged to the boys in blue.  Around six minutes onto the second half Anelka slammed the ball past Bolton's keeper Jaaskelainen for the third. 

 The game was pretty much over by this point, but what's the point of winning if you can't stick it up to your opponent.  And at the 73rd minute mark, thanks to a great show of power by Micheal Essien and some fancy footwork from Anelka, the young brazillain Ramires found the ball at his feet and knocked the ball into the Bolton net for the fourth time that evening.

Maybe this means we can actually make a comeback.

Chelsea FC: The Pride of London

Since I did not have the pleasure of watching our win against Blackburn I will not speak of it for fear of over stating Chelsea's awesomeness. And honestly seeing two back to back wins has been nice, considering our dreadful form of late.  Of course on the down side, guess who got injured again?  Lampard. Lovely. Just lovely. If we end up going back to the form we were in a couple weeks ago I might seriously start thinking of changing into a Manchester City fan or even spurs fan, at least the spurs are a London team.  Hell, worst come to worst I might even start to support Arsenal.  I mean, we went from the most feared team in the league, one that swatted other teams away like flies.  Where did that go?  I just hope that we can get it back, because I don't think I will be able to live with myself if I see united lift the cup again. 


Anyway next week I intend on giving a blow by blow account of how Chelsea will(hopefully) thrash Bolton.

PS. I would never leave Chelsea, even if we got relegated.
